I offer acupuncture for fertility in Greystones, Blackrock and Pembroke Road, Dublin.

Trying to conceive can be a stressful and emotional time both for individuals and couples. My approach is always holistic, sensitive and unhurried.  I offer acupuncture alongside natural conception and assisted treatments such as IVF and IUI to help you feel calm and supported. As well as aiming to optimise conditions for conception, many people also find acupuncture relaxing and helpful for the management of stress. Acupuncture treatments can begin at any time prior to conception to help prepare the body and mind for conception.

Whether your fertility journey is at the early stages or you are further down the line, I will always start with a full consultation so I can understand exactly what your situation is and offer a treatment tailored to you.  Acupuncture is non-invasive and gentle and I will always work at your pace.

Acupuncture for Natural Conception

Acupuncture for natural conception ideally takes place on a weekly basis to coincide with the natural rhythm of your cycle. Supporting a regular menstrual cycle can be an important first step towards natural conception. Reducing symptoms of stress and creating a feeling of calm and wellbeing can help with the process of natural conception. In Chinese Medicine this is understood as supporting the flow of blood and qi (energy).

Acupuncture with IVF and IUI

Acupuncture treatments while undertaking assisted conception can be extremely beneficial to aid relaxation, reduce stress, reduce side effects and support the body through the physical process. I work alongside your fertility clinic's treatments and tailor your treatment to your specific circumstances. Treatments are given on a weekly basis, as well as at the different stages of the assisted reproductive process.  If possible, two treatments are given on the day of embryo transfer, before and after the procedure.  Treatments are also given during the two week wait to support the body and mind while waiting for your result.

Fertility is often a shared journey. if you're trying to conceive with a partner, they're very welcome to book a session too. I warmly welcome people of all genders, same-sex couples, and single people conceiving with a donor. However you're building your family, you'll be met with care and without judgement.
